Linebackers (D-)

The defensive line was far from the only reason Iowa's offense had a much too easy a time on Friday. It's hard to underline just how mediocre the Iowa offense was, coming into yesterday. One way is to explain they were averaging less than 160 yards per game rushing. They ran for 266 against Nebraska. The problem was that once the Hawkeyes got past the defensive front, the linebackers weren't doing much to help.
