A variety of medicines are available to treat the complication, but home remedies have no alternative. Most often, people use OTC drugs to cure the complication, such as ketorolac, opiates, indomethacin, naproxen, and prescription-strength acetaminophen. If painkillers are not giving any benefits, you should the following remedies.

Apple cider vinegar

Apple Cider Vinegar works effectively for migraines and other similar diseases.

It provides relief from the throbbing headaches and reduces your stress level. Add three tablespoons of raw apple cider vinegar to one cup of water. You can include one teaspoon of honey or sugar to enhance its taste.

Rosemary oil

A study published in the Journal of Medicines reveals that Rosemary Oil is good for human health. It is one of the most powerful remedies for a headache. Take a few drops of rosemary oil and massage your feet and head for ten to fifteen minutes.

It improves blood circulation in the body. Footbath with rosemary oil or almond oil is an effective home remedy for a headache and sleeping disorders. A study published in Food Chemistry has highlighted that rosemary oil has excellent pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory properties.

Peppermint oil

Take seven to eight drops of peppermint oil and massage your head using the fingertips for better results. Alternatively, you can soak your feet in the footbath of peppermint oil for half an hour. This oil helps calm the nerves and reduces the stress level. No doubt, peppermint oil has loads of minerals, antioxidants, and anti-inflammatory properties. You can place two wet peppermint tea bags on the closed eyelids for ten minutes to get relief.
