MLB rumors indicate some big names are coming off the disabled list. Andrew Miller, Jacob deGrom, Rougned Odor, and Keynan Middleton are all ready to return to action for their teams. This could be big news for fantasy baseball owners who are either counting on these players or hopeful that someone like Middleton can provide some value from the waiver wire.

MLB disabled list news

A report by MLB.com states that Cleveland Indians relief pitcher Andrew Miller will likely get activated from the 10-day DL on Friday (May 11). This would immediately make him available and give the bullpen of the Indians a huge boost.

The team has struggled to hold leads over the past few weeks, but Miller should provide an immediate boost.

Los Angeles Angels relief pitcher Keynan Middleton is also ready to return to action. A report by Jeff Fletcher states that he could be activated on Thursday (May 10). Though not right away, Middleton could quickly be in the running to take over as the closer for the Angels. This is someone that fantasy baseball owners should keep a close eye on and pick up if he is available at no cost.

More DL returns

New York Mets ace Jacob deGrom has some great next for fans. A report by MLB.com states that he could return from the 10-day DL to start on Sunday (May 13). That's a quick turnaround for one of the best pitchers in baseball and a welcome piece of news for fans of the Mets.

This would be a huge piece of great news for fantasy baseball owners as well.

The St. Louis Cardinals are also expected to get back a starting pitcher this weekend, with Adam Wainwright on schedule to come off the disabled list on Saturday (May 12). He should immediately re-join the starting rotation of the Cardinals and might be worth picking up in fantasy baseball league.

Then there is second baseman Rougned Odor of the Texas Rangers, who is expected to come off the disabled list on Friday (May 11). Odor might give the Rangers a lot of help in the lineup and reward fantasy baseball owners who have held on to him through his injury problems.

James Paxton just threw a no-hitter for the Seattle Mariners, marking the sixth time this has been done in franchise history.

Other names on that list for the Mariners include Felix Hernandez, Randy Johnson, and Chris Bosio. The Mariners also made news when it was revealed that Ichiro Suzuki will be transitioning away from being an active player. The Mariners did pop up in other MLB rumors, though, as Ichiro may just return to play in the 2019 MLB season.
