After a good Tuesday game, with surprise victories for Real Madrid vs Borussia Dortmund, and Liverpool once again drawing with Spartak Moskva, we can hope for some more great games today. Here are some things to look out for in these three games.

  • Atletico Madrid vs Chelsea
  • PSG vs Bayern Munich
  • Sporting vs Barcelona

Atletico Madrid vs Chelsea

After the confirmed transfer of Diego Costa going back to Chelsea, the unlikely history between these two clubs continues to grow. In the least seven years, the clubs have met five times, four in the Champions League and one in the Supercup.

Chelsea has won one game of the five, drawing two and losing the other two, and unfortunately for blue fans, tomorrow might continue this bleak record. Although Chelsea has bounced back after a bad start against Burnley, scoring nine goals in two games, they still drew against Arsenal, the toughest match-up they have had so far. Atletico hasn't been as exciting in terms of goals but has managed to confidently beat Athletic Bilbao away from home, and Sevilla 2-0. According to Transfermarkt, both teams haven't suffered any major injuries, except for Danny Drinkwater still not being available for Chelsea, and Diego Costa also not called up to the squad. David Luiz for Chelsea and Augusto Fernandez are slight doubts as well.

Prediction: 2-1

Even though I think Atletico Madrid should win this game, Morata has scored 6 goals since his arrival to the Premier League, so don't expect an easy win for Los Rojiblancos.

PSG vs Bayern Munich

The biggest game of the week, matchups like these are why the Champions League is so loved by everyone.

Well, almost everyone.

Despite any drama off the pitch, PSG is cruising. Scoring 24 goals in seven games, while conceding only three, it looks like this is the year they will make it far in the Champions League. PSG are first in Ligue 1, with Neymar as top assister, and Cavani at second as top scorer. Bayern Munich is third in the Bundesliga, after drawing with Wolfsburg at home and losing to Hoffenheim.

Although not first, PSG have yet to face a real challenge this season, which Bayern Munich will provide. PSG will be without Pastore, due to injury, while Bayern Munich will not have Manuel Neuer, which will make a big difference in the game.

Prediction: 2-1 PSG

With the likes of Neymar, Cavani, and Manuel Neuer not being in goal, PSG has an advantage over Bayern Munich, especially at home. Don't write off Bayern Munich though, as just like Real Madrid, they play a different, better game in the Champions League.

Sporting vs Barcelona

Barcelona is playing the best football they have played in a few weeks, something unexpected after the injury of Ousmane Dembele. They have won all of their games in the league, scoring 20 goals in six games, while conceding only 2.

Messi is top scorer, scoring nine goals in six games, and has finally scored a brace against Juventus two weeks ago. Sporting is second in the league, drawing both of their last games, including 16th placed Moreirense.According to Sports Illustrated, Barcelona is missing Dembele, as well as Rafinha, while Sporting has no big injuries for tomorrow.

Prediction: 0-3 Barcelona

Barcelona managed to beat Juventus 3-0 (albeit it was at home), and have failed to show any weaknesses in their performances as of yet (excluding the Spanish Supercup). Sporting has failed to win in their last two games, so this should be the easiest game to predict out of the three.
