Manchester United manager José Mourinho is demanding midfielder Toni Kroos to be part of any deal that takes David De Gea to Real Madrid. In England, Virgil Van Dijk's proposed move to Liverpool is still on, with the defender willing to force through his dream switch to Anfield this summer, while Thomas Lemar has told Monaco he wants to be sold this summer after agreeing personal terms over a switch to Arsenal. Here's a complete report of the latest transfer updates making the rounds:

Mourinho insists on a swap deal to sell David de Gea

Just weeks after it was reported that Real Madrid had ended their “pursuit” of David de Gea, the latest report claims they're preparing a new offer of around $78.3m to the Manchester United number one goalie, according to Metro.

Real Madrid have been monitoring De Gea for some years now and see the 26-year-old as their next long- term number 1 goalkeeper at the Bernabeu.

There's growing rumor Los Blancos will eventually sign David de Gea before the end of this month, and the young goalkeeper is said to be interested in a return to his country. However, United is playing “hard ball” over De Gea, and the Red Devil boss José Mourinho is now ready to “counter” Madrid's offer by demanding Toni Kroos be included if the deal is to be done. The German player experienced a “largely peripheral” role at the Bernabeu following his move in the summer of 2014, according to Metro.

Van Dijk still wants Liverpool move

Virgil van Dijk was heavily linked with a switch to Liverpool before the summer transfer window officially opened on July 1, but the deal appeared to be “dead” after Southampton reportedly accused Liverpool of “illegally” inducing their star defender.

The Red Merseysiders responded with official statements strenuously insisting they'd ended their pursuit of the defender, but after an EPL investigation apparently “excused” Liverpool of any wrongdoings, it is understood the Reds are back on the hunt again.

Several EPL clubs are said to be monitoring Virgil van Dijk, with Chelsea and Arsenal also interested in the Dutch player who's valued at $78m.

But the 26-year-old fullback only has his eyes for a possible switch to Liverpool this summer window and is prepared to hand in a “transfer request” to force his dream move to Anfield, according to the Sun.

Lemar keen on move to Arsenal

Thomas Lemar is said to be desperate to join Arsenal and will be excited to work under Arsene Wenger at the Emirates.

According to the Sun, The 21-year-old winger has agreed a long-term deal worth about $117,000 per week with the Gunners. However, Ligue 1 champions AS Monaco are said to be “hesitant” to allow another one of their star players leave and their Ligue 1 winning squad “ripped” apart this summer window.

Thomas Lemar is prepared to force his dream switch to Arsenal over the line in the coming weeks and will demand to be sold if the French champions play “hard ball.” AS Monaco has already lost Tiemoue Bakayoko to Chelsea and Bernardo Silva to Manchester City, while Kylian Mbappe and Benjamin Mendy have also been “strongly” linked with exits this summer as well.
