Atletico Bilbao are considering a move for Arsenal defender Nacho Monreal this summer. In England, West Ham United striker Enner Valencia has joined Mexican Liga MX side Tigres UANL. Elsewhere, contract rebel Emre Can could well leave EPL club Liverpool this summer, with both Lazio and Juventus keeping close tabs on his situation. Also, Martin Braithwaite has undergone surgery in Teesside as he closes in on a move to Middlesbrough. Here's a report of the latest transfer updates Making The Rounds:

Atletico Bilbao keen on Monreal move

Atletico Bilbao have prioritized the signing of defenders this summer and believe Nacho Monreal would be the ideal addition to their squad, according to the Sun.

Arsenal may allow the 31-year-old to leave the Emirates after finalizing a deal for left back defender Sead Kolasinac early this week and are hopeful of signing one of their targets in the coming weeks. Nacho Monreal is currently on the Gunner's preseason tour in Australia and became Arsenal's first choice left back defender towards the end of last term. Monreal scored just once in forty-three appearances last season and has a running contract with the Gunners until the summer of 2019.

Valencia finally joins Pachuca

West Ham United have confirmed Enner Valencia, who spent last term on loan at Everton FC, has now moved for an undisclosed fee to Mexico, according to the Telegraph. The 27-year-old striker joined the Hammers from Mexican Liga MX club CF Pachuca in 2014 after impressing at the 2014 FIFA World Cup with Ecuador.

Valencia made sixty-eight appearances for West Ham, netting ten goals, including a memorable long range volley against Hull City in his maiden season in the EPL. The Ecuador international played twenty-three times for Everton FC last season, mostly as a substitute, and netted just three times.

Lazio and Juventus lead chase to sign Emre Can

Emre Can is the “subject” of intense speculations after reports emerged suggesting that the Germany international won't be signing a new deal worth $130,000 per week. According to Sports Mole, SS Lazio have now joined Serie A champions Juventus in the chase for the 23-year-old with the winger's contract situation showing no “signs” of progression.

It is suggested that the Red Merseysiders will only demand £14m should Can choose to leave Anfield this summer. However, Italian champions Juventus are thought to be preparing a formal bid in the region of $33.6million to fend-off competitions from elsewhere.

Braithwaite joins Middlesbrough

Martin Braithwaite finalized medical test before sitting down to complete the details of a four year contract, with the both clubs having agreed a transfer fee reportedly in the region of $11.3million. Middlesbrough's official statement read: “Garry Monk (manager) is close to finalizing his third summer recruit after Martin Braithwaite arrived at the club this Thursday to complete his move from Toulouse." The 26-year-old Denmark international would become Middlesbrough's third summer signing following the arrivals of Cyrus Christie from Derby County and Jonny Howson from Norwich City.
