Italian Serie A club AS Roma want Everton out of favor winger Gerard Deulofeu to replace Mohamed Salah, Salah recently left Roma for Liverpool after the Merseysiders completed a deal worth an initial $45.2million. In England, Premier League champions Chelsea are reportedly trying to “hijack” Zenit St Petersburg's move for Kostas Manolas. Borussia Mönchengladbach are putting up a formal offer of $15.5million for Tottenham Hotspur forward Vincent Janssen. Here's a complete report of the latest transfer updates Making The Rounds this summer:

Roma keen on Deulofeu as Saleh replacement

Serie A giants AS Roma are now working hard to bring in a perfect replacement and they're also tracking US Sassuolo Calcio striker Domenico Berardi.

According to Marca, Everton winger Gerard Deulofeu is the main target on the Italian side summer wish list. AS Roma Sporting director Monchi has revealed Deulofeu as the ideal replacement for Mohamed Salah and he now wants to hold discussions with Premier League club Everton FC. The Spaniard is returning to Everton after a loan stint at AC Milan, but he could yet be snapped-up by Catalan giants Barcelona if they eventually exercise their buy-back clause option.

Chelsea enters race to lure Kostas Manolas

Manolas is on the verge of joining Russian Premier League side FC Zenit Saint Petersburg after AS Roma accepted an offer of $39.7million for the center back. Manolas was due to have his medicals on Thursday, but he has reportedly not shown-up after a disagreement over personal terms.

According to Metro, the English Premier League champions have apparently swooped to try to hijack the Greece international move to Saint Petersburg. Chelsea have been tracking the center back for months now and they may now ultimately be making their move in the coming weeks. However, AS Roma will not sanction a sale to the Blues unless they match Zenit Saint Petersburg's offer in full.

Mönchengladbach indicate interest on Janssen

Borussia Mönchengladbach's interest in Vincent Janssen has been reported in recent days and they're willing to provide the Dutchman with a route out of Tottenham. Mönchengladbach are big fans of Janssen and believe he could “thrive” in the German Bundesliga if given time to settle.

Mönchengladbach are ready to step up their interest with a formal bid that, according to Mirror, will be around $15.5million, although, that amount may well “prove” too low for Tottenham Hotspur, who apparently coughed out $21.9million last year to sign Vincent Janssen from Dutch Eredivisie outfit AZ Alkmaar. However, Borussia Mönchengladbach will argue the player's value has dropped down over the past year after he managed to score just two EPL goals last term.
