Premier League club Everton FC have finally confirmed the signing of Henry Onyekuru. Elsewhere, Rangers winger Andy Halliday is on his way to Austria to finalize a season-long loan to Azerbaijan side Gabala Fk. Here's a complete report of the latest transfer updates making the rounds:

Onyekuru joins Everton

Henry Onyekuru has been pursued by a host of European clubs, having topped the Belgian league goal scoring chart last season. The Nigerian youngster scored 22 goals in 38 games for K.A.S Eupen and was recently called up to the Nigerian national team.

English giants Arsenal were reportedly interested in landing the Nigerian forward but he has instead opted to join Everton. Everton “triggered” the $8.79million buy-out clause in his contract and he's believed to have finished a medical exam at the club's Finch Farm training ground on Monday. According to New Telegraph, The 20-year-old forward is expected to spend next season on loan at RSC Anderlecht as he doesn't yet qualify for a work permit in England.

Onyekuru will become Everton FC's third summer signing, following the arrivals of Davy Klaassen and Jordan Pickford.

Halliday set to leave Glasgow Rangers this summer

Andy Halliday is set to leave Rangers this summer in the transfer window. The 25-year-old midfielder has sorted out his Rangers exit just 24 hours after it emerged that he had been dropped from the Scottish outfit's Europa League roster.

The Scottish midfielder is now heading to Salzburg in Austria, where Azerbaijan giants Gabala FK are currently holding their pre-season training tour ahead of the 2017-18 season. Negotiations are planned for Thursday and the midfielder is expected to pen a one year loan deal with the Azerbaijan giants. Gabala FK finished 2nd in the Azerbaijan top flight league and will kick off their UEFA Europa League campaign against the winners of the encounter between Jagiellonia Bialystok and Dinamo Batumi.

According to Express Sport, the Glasgow Rangers have been told that Aberdeen winger Kenny McLean isn't for sale this summer. The Glasgow Rangers lodged a formal bid of $388,000 last week Wednesday, but that offer was rejected by Aberdeen executives. Ultimately, they value McLean at around $1.2m but are apparently not willing to sell the winger to their rivals after seeing their former skipper Ryan Jack make a move to Glasgow in early June. Either way, this will be interesting to keep an eye on.
