The Boston Celtics won 123-111 over the Washington Wizards at home to take a 1-0 lead in the series. The Cleveland Cavaliers have also been successful at home, as they took Game 1 over the Toronto Raptors with a 116-105 victory.

Al Horford and Isaiah Thomas dominated the game

The Boston Celtics shot 46 of 90 from the field and 19 of 39 from the three point line, as they scored 123 points. Isaiah Thomas led all scorers in the game with 33 points, while shooting 11 of 23 from the field and 5 of 11 from the outside. Thomas also added nine assists to his stat sheet.

Al Horford finished the game one rebound shy of a triple-double, as he had 21 points, nine rebounds and ten assists, while shooting 10 of 13 from the field. Jae Crowder had 24 points and six rebounds, while Avery Bradley added 18 points, five rebounds and four assists for the home team. Kelly Olynyk scored 12 points off the bench.

Bradley Beal led the Wizards in scoring with 27 points, as he shot 9 of 19 from the field and 4 of 7 from the three point line. John Wall had a huge double-double with 20 points and 16 assists, while shooting 9 of 20 from the field. Both Otto Porter and Marcin Gortat had a double-double. Porter scored 16 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in 40 minutes on the floor, while Gortat had 16 points and 13 rebounds.

Kelly Oubre added 12 points, while Bojan Bogdanovic scored 10 points off the bench.

LeBron James led the Cavaliers

LeBron James finished the game with a double-double, as he scored 35 points and grabbed ten rebounds, while shooting 13 of 23 from the field. Kyrie Irving also had a double-double with 24 points and ten assists, while shooting 7 of 16 from the field.

Kevin Love added 18 points and nine rebounds, while Tristan Thompson also had a solid game with 11 points and 14 rebounds.

Kyle Lowry was the leading scorer for the Raptors with 20 points and 11 assists, while shooting 7 of 13 from the field and 2 of 4 from the outside. DeMar DeRozan added 19 points and seven rebounds in 34 minutes of play, as he shot 7 of 16 from the field.

Serge Ibaka scored 15 points and grabbed six rebounds, while shooting 6 of 14 from the field and a perfect 3 of 3 from the three point line. P.J. Tucker added a double-double off the bench, as he finished the game with 13 points and 11 rebounds.
