The overall fantasy leader led this week's round and is now with a fifty-six point lead at the summit. This round MLS fantasy scored a total of 115 points, led by Columbus Crew SC skipper and hat-trick hero Justin Meram, who earned forty-six points in his second two matches. Behind him were New England Lee Nguyen, who scored fifteen points with two assists and a goal, and Toronto FC Victor Vazquez, earning thirteen points with two assists.

Who're the defensive fantasy leaders?

Goalkeepers — Toronto FC Alex Bono saved a penalty kick on the way up eleven points to lead this position. Supporting him were New England Cody Cropper, who earned a clean-sheet with nine points and the pair of Crew SC Zack Steffen and Colorado Rapids Tim Howard, who both earned eight points each, with Steffen saving a penalty kick and Howard posting a clean-sheet.

DC United Bill Hamid picked just three points. Defenders — New England Revolution Chris Tierney scored sixteen points with two assists to lead this week defenders.

Trailing behind him were Philadelphia Union Oguchi Onyewu, who earned a clean sheet with a goal for fourteen points, and Timbers Liam Ridgewell who earned ten points with a goal. For DC United, Kofi Opare earned two points, and both Taylor Kemp and Bobby Boswell picked just one point.

The midfield position

In this week fantasy round, Justin Meram twenty-three points were enough for both overall lead and the midfield round. Following him were Philadelphia Union Haris Medunjanin, who earned nineteen points with two assists and a goal, and LA Galaxy Romain Alessandrini, who scored seventeen points with two goals.

DC United midfield featured Lloyd Sam earning four points, followed by Ian Harkes scoring four points, Jared Jeffrey scoring three points, and the trio of Marcelo Sarvas, Sebastien Le Toux, and Lamar Neagle all earning just one point.

The attacking leaders

Chicago Fire Nemanja Nikolic scored twenty points with an assists and two goals to lead this position.

Behind him were Toronto FC Toisaint Ricketts who netted three goals in two matches for nineteen points, and Crew SC Shkelzen Gashi who notched twice for fourteen points.

DC United lone scoring striker was Patrick Mullins, who earned only two points. This week ten clubs play two times — Houston Dynamo, Chicago Fire, Orlando City, Colorado Rapids, Real Salt, Sporting Kansas, Philadelphia Union and San Jose Earthquakes.

The other teams played only just once.
