The Golden State Warriors won 119-113 on the road to take game three over the Portland Trailblazers, as they now have a 3-0 lead in the series. The Warriors played a second straight game without Kevin Durant, but they managed to find their offense in the second half. They are now just one game away from the second round of the NBA playoffs.

Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson carried the team

The Trailblazers opened the game furiously, as they outscored the Warriors 37-30 in the first quarter and 30-24 in the second. They went on a break with a 13 point lead.

But the Warriors stepped up big in the second half and turned things around, behind great shooting performances by Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson.

Curry had 34 points, four rebounds, and eight assists while shooting 10 of 25 from the field and 5 of 14 from the three-point line. Steph also made 9 of his ten free throw attempts. Klay Thompson added 24 points, as he shot 8 of 21 from the field and 4 of 9 from the outside.

Once again, Draymond Green flirted with a triple-double, as he had nine points, eight rebounds, and seven assists, but also a huge six blocks in 40 minutes on the floor. With Kevin Durant out, Patrick McCaw stepped into a starting lineup and had 11 points, five rebounds, five assists and three steals in 28 minutes of play.

Zaza Pachulia played only ten minutes as a starter and finished the game with zero points. Andre Iguodala played big 36 minutes off the bench and had a solid game with 16 points, seven rebounds and three assists, as he shot 5 of 12 from the field and 6 of 7 from the free throw line. Javal McGee added 14 points and four rebounds off the bench for The Golden State Warriors.

Portland's dynamic duo wasn't enough

The Portland Trailblazers were struggling in the game two, especially their two best players Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum. They both found their scoring rhythm in this game, but that just wasn't enough.

Lillard and McCollum combined for 63 points while shooting 20 of 43 from the field, 10 of 22 from downtown and 13 of 13 from the free throw line.

They took half of Trailblazers shots and 70 percent of team's three-point attempts.

Damian Lillard finished the game with 31 points, seven rebounds, and four assists while shooting 10 of 23 from the field and 4 of 13 from downtown. McCollum had 32 points and six rebounds, as he also shot 10 of 23 from the field, and efficiently 6 of 9 from the outside.

A center Jusuf Nurkic returned from an injury, but he played only 16 minutes, as he scored two points, grabbed 11 rebounds and had four assists. Evan Turner played a team-high 40 minutes and finished the game with 17 points and eight rebounds. Al-Faruq Aminu added 14 points and nine rebounds off the bench in 31 minutes on the floor.

The next game is on the schedule for Monday, at 10:30 pm.
