An important early series in the AL East continues on Wednesday night when Baltimore hosts Toronto at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. The Orioles edged their opponent out 3-2 in extra innings opening day. Mark Trumbo was the hero by drilling a solo shot with two outs in the bottom of the 11th. Starting pitcher Kevin Gausman had a solid outing giving up two earned runs on five hits in 5.1 innings, but it was reliever Tyler Wilson who picked up the victory. First pitch is slated for 7:10 PM Eastern time and the game will be broadcast on MLB.tv, Sportsnet 1 in Canada, and MASN2.

Blue Jays (0-1, 5th AL East)

The top of Toronto's batting order, featuring second baseman Devon Travis and third baseman Josh Donaldson, combined for five hits on 11 at-bats. That aided designated Kendrys Morales to bring run of them in during the middle of the contest. Left fielder Ezequiel Carrera reeled in the other RBI for the team.

Left-handed starter J.A. Happ will be taking the mound for the Blue Jays. He recorded a solid 20-4 record last year with just a 3.18 ERA. After rolling through a solid spring training, he already looks to be in mid-season form and should be able to bring a huge boost to the team.

Orioles (1-0, 1st AL East)

Trumbo didn't only do damage in the final inning. He recorded an earlier RBI in the contest and finished with two hits on five at-bats.

Both RBIs came with two outs already in the inning. Four different players including Trumbo recorded doubles, and the team tallied nine hits in the contest while striking out just five times.

Right-hander Dylan Bundy will make his second season debut with the Orioles. He compiled a 10-6 record with a 4.02 ERA. He finished last season with a 4-2 record in his last seven starts, although he did give up five runs in three of those outings.

Things didn't go as well for him in spring training where he gave up 19 hits and 6 home runs.

Baltimore is the home favorite with -113 on the moneyline and the run total is set at 8.5. The under of the run total has won in the last nine meetings between these teams.
