UConn turned the ball over 10 times and committed 23 personal fouls, which led to Houston converting 25-of-29 free throws.

Sophomore guard Jalen Adams (15 ppg, 6.6 apg) led the team with 18 points and also had a positive passing ratio of 5 assists to 2 turnovers in the loss. Freshman forward Vance Jackson (7.7 ppg, 3.9 rpg) recorded 16 points on 5-of-10 shooting, three of those field goal makes coming from 3-point range.
