Over the last few weeks, any person who is at least in some small way in touch with reality has realized what an extreme and bizarre candidate Donald Trump is. I completely disagree with just about every single thing he believes, and, quite frankly, I find his comments on undocumented immigrants to be repulsive. However, it is almost refreshing to hear a politician speak from the bottom of his “heart” and not give a damn what people think.
Well, okay, “refreshing” may not be the best word.
What I mean, is that it is quite amusing and intriguing to watch one of
To put it bluntly, Donald Trump is one of the most out of touch, hypocritical, and nonsensical “Presidential Hopefuls” to ever exist.
He announces his candidacy in one of the most racist speeches I have ever seen by a Presidential Candidate.
He goes on an unhinged rant about the evil that is undocumented immigrants while he himself is employing countless undocumented immigrants.
He complains about the crime that is coming for the Mexican border, but ignores the fact that the overwhelming majority of Mexican immigrants are not committing crimes. In fact, numerous analysis’ and data show that there is no evidence immigrants commit crimes at a higher rate than native-born Americans.
Also, since 1990, immigration in the United States has increased while crime has actually decreased. And crime rates are lower for first generation immigrants than they are for native-born Americans, as well.
And then there’s the fact that, hey, if you want to talk about crimes that are costing this country money, how about some of the incredible scandals on Wall Street, and the absurd amount of white collar crimes that are being committed.
No, forget about that too; the most pressing issue is the evil Mexicans.
And of course in his race-based speech he fails to even mention the amount of unarmed African Americans being killed in the United States today by white people. (That is a little bit different though. After all, they aren’t rich and white like they should be).
Of course, these are only a fraction of the ways Donald Trump is out of touch with reality, but he has chosen to run a campaign based on racist hate, so I figured I would focus on that aspect of his persona today.
Donald Trump is absurd. It is almost laughable how ridiculous his entire character is. But he is somehow surging in the polls, and the upcoming August 6th GOP debate should be simply incredible with him in it.
Normally, I would be appalled by someone who says makes such disgusting comments as Trump has, but instead I will just recognize him for what he is: a man invested in unabashed hatred for Mexican Immigrants.
Well, not all of them…
He assumes that some of them are good people.
