The results of the much anticipated Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Education SSC examinations will be unveiled on Monday, June 6, 2016, at 1:00 PM IST.

The final confirmation of result date has now put an end to the various rumors which started surfacing on online social media sites about the release. 

According to reliable reports, more than 17 lakh pupils had appeared for this examination. This massive count includes 3.6 lakh from Mumbai division alone. 

After obtaining the results, candidates can apply for verification of marks from June 7 -  27 if needed. The score list will be available in schools on 15th of this month.

Registrants can obtain their examination results by visiting the official website of Maharashtra's educational board.

  • Login into site
  • Click on the relevant link to reach the respective section which displays scores.  
  • Enter your details like Roll No and Registration Id.
  • Click on 'Submit' tab. 
  • Your scoresheet will be displayed on the screen.
  • It is highly recommended to take a print out of this sheet for further reference. 

If you are a BSNL mobile phone user, then you can type mhssc < Seat No > and send it to 57766 to get the marks. 

The re-exams will be held next month and any of you have plans of attending it, then start your preparations now itself. 

Several innovative measures were being adopted in this year's examination to reduce the stress among candidates. 

Science subject was split into two sections so that students will get enough time to revise the topics with ease. 

Specially-abled candidates were given the option to use an adult writer for the exam.
