The Los Angeles Clippers were able to defeat the Portland Trail Blazers by the score of 104-103 on Thursday at the Moda Center in Portland. The Clippers executed a great inbound play, Patrick Beverly gave Blake Griffin an off-ball screen which gave him a wide-open three-pointer at the end of regulation. The Clippers still remain undefeated in the NBA regular season.

Aminu hits five three-pointers

Al-Farouq Amino was on fire from the three-point line against the Los Angeles Clippers. He was able to contribute 19 points, six rebounds, two assists, one block and three steals. Aminu shot 54.5 percent from the field, 100 percent from the free throw line, and an amazing 62.5 percent from beyond the arc. With CJ McCollum and Damian Lillard also having a great game Portland was poised to win the game. Blake Griffin had another incredible night and made a huge three-pointer at the buzzer.

Gallinari and Rivers score 16 points

Danilo Gallinari and Austin Rivers had a great game against the Portland Trail Blazers, both of them scored 16 points.

Gallinari had a great all-around game, he contributed 16 points, three rebounds, and three assists. He did struggle from the field, he only shot 30.8 percent from the field, missed all five of his three-point attempts, but he was able to make all eight of his free throws.

Rivers also had a solid game with 16 points, one rebound, and two steals. He shot 45.5 percent from the field, 60 percent from beyond the arc, and 75 percent from the free throw line. The Clippers have a great bench this season with Austin Rivers, Lou Williams, Wesley Johnson, and Sam Dekker. They are slowly becoming a force to be reckoned with this season.

Blake Griffin playing like an MVP

Blake Griffin continues his strong showing this season against the Portland Trail Blazers.

He contributed 25 points (team high), eight rebounds, five assists (team high), and one steal. After Chris Paul's departure, Blake Griffin has truly risen to the occasion of being the sole franchise player of the Los Angeles Clippers.

Blake is now averaging 26.3 points, 9.3 rebounds, and 4.5 assists in his first four games of the season. The Clippers will shift their attention to this Friday, as they face the Detroit Pistons at the Staples Center. The Clippers and the San Antonio Spurs are the only undefeated teams in the NBA today with a 4-0 record. If Griffin can continue to play well, he may have another all-star season this year.
