With the NBA trade deadline looming there could possibly be some big superstars on their way to new cities. Among those mentioned in recent rumors is world-class sharpshooter Steph Curry.

Is Steph Curry leaving the Warriors?

Steph Curry will be a free agent this summer and even though he has stated he wants to stay in Oakland, the team may not want to risk him walking away and leaving them empty handed. The Golden State Warriors technically have a big "4" and when it comes to the money someone is gonna get the short end of the stick because they won't be able to afford four max contract players.

Steph Curry will definitely get a max contract this summer but will it be with Golden State?

The Warriors already have Draymond Green and Klay Thompson locked up at what some would say is a discount but both of those players will be demanding more money in the very near future. Kevin Durant is on a max deal but can opt out after this season. Chances are that he re-signs to a long term deal with Golden State in the off season. With Steph's free agency right around the corner, they may want to move him just to make sure they at least get something in return.

Major three team trade scenario

Every team in the NBA would love to get their hands on a Steph Curry or an Anthony Davis. What if a team could pull it off so that they can have both?

The New York Knicks seem to be in a prime position to pull off a blockbuster trade in order to make that happen. The trade would be between the Knicks, Warriors, and the New Orleans Pelicans. The Warriors would get young stud Kristaps Porzingis from the Knicks and point guard Jrue Holiday from the Pelicans.

The Pelicans would get Draymond Green from the Warriors and superstar Carmelo Anthony from the Knicks. New York would get the biggest haul of them all by receiving both Steph Curry and Anthony Davis.

This trade scenario would benefit each team involved. The Warriors would get a great point guard in Jrue Holiday to replace Curry along with budding star Kristaps Porzingis to take over Draymond Green's spot.

The Pelicans would get two all stars in Carmelo and Draymond to vill the voids left by Jrue and Anthony Davis. The Knicks would be able to re-sign Curry to a long term deal over the summer keeping him and "AD" in the fold together for the next few years. Curry and Davis would both enjoy the big market spotlight of being in NYC and hopefully bringing that team back to relevance after years of futility. This could be an interesting scenario that would truly shake up the NBA landscape.
