As Derek Carr and the Oakland Raiders prepare to take on the Kansas City Chiefs during tonight's airing of "Thursday Night Football," the quarterback's wife is focused on their family. On December 7, ahead of her husband's division showdown, Heather Carr posted a sweet photo of their two sons wearing "Football" jackets as they took a stroll through the woods.

After labeling the two boys "studs," Heather gushed over how thankful she was that God made her their mommy. Just last week, Heather shared another photo on her Instagram account, which included her oldest son, Dallas Carr, staring up at their family's Christmas tree.

In the caption, Heather reminded fans that Jesus is the reason for the season and said she was excited for her son to experience the holiday season.

Derek Carr is a family man

Derek Carr may be known for his stellar performances as the Raiders' starting quarterback (the team currently has an impressive 10-2 record), but off the field, Carr is all about family -- and the Lord. In fact, in Carr's latest Instagram post to his fans and followers, the athlete spoke of his dedication to doing God's work.

"What they call work I call worship! Never ashamed of who's I am and who brought me here. Yahweh is faithful to those who walk WITH Him!" Carr wrote in his post, also speaking of his many blessings.

In addition to his successful career, Carr spoke of his beautiful family and friends and said that he loves every single one of his supporters.

Derek Carr has been married for four years

Carr married his wife Heather in June 2012 and the couple shares two children together. In August 2013, the couple welcomed their first child, son Dallas, and earlier this year, Deker Carr arrived.

Since welcoming their children, both Derek and Heather have been quite active social media and continue to share their special moments with their loyal fans and followers.

To see Derek Carr and his team take on the Chiefs, tune in to "Thursday Night Football" tonight, December 8, at 8:30 p.m.
