The latest WWE "SmackDown Live" results and spoilers came just a night after a huge "Monday Night Raw" show. Could the Tuesday night program top the action seen on what has been considered the flagship show? "SmackDown" arrived from the University of South Carolina less than a week ahead of the big "TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs" 2016 pay-per-view, with plenty of hard-hitting action and new developments. Among the big events of the show would be an official contract signing for the Women's Championship match, and a huge match to determine top contenders for the tag team titles. Here's a look at all of the latest WWE "SmackDown" results.

'TLC' PPV hype builds

There was an Alexa Bliss and Becky Lynch title match contract signing. A war of words caused an in-ring brawl where Becky attacked Alexa. She set up a table and tried to powerbomb Bliss but got shoved off the corner and crashed through it herself.

Dolph Ziggler and Kalisto won a tag team match over The Miz and Baron Corbin due to a DQ. Corbin ended up smashing a chair across Kalisto's back when he had Miz pinned.

A backstage segment was shown where Randy Orton was with Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper. Orton talked up how he used to be just like American Alpha so he knows what it takes to defeat them.

He looked at Harper and questioned if he's going to do what it takes tonight against Kane. Harper stared at Orton and Bray told Harper to "go send Kane back to hell."

Carmella delivered an in-ring apology to John Cena for what she's going to do to his girlfriend at TLC on Sunday. She said she'd hit her so hard with her chair that her Bella Twins would pop out of her back.

Nikki took exception to the remarks and rushed the ring to attack. Refs eventually separated the two with Carmella fleeing up the ramp.

'Ambrose Asylum' with Ellsworth

Dean Ambrose hosted a special "TLC" edition of "Ambrose Asylum" in the ring with James Ellsworth. The newest "SmackDown Live" star thanked Ambrose for helping him get the contract and offered to do anything for him if he needs it.

AJ Styles came out to interrupt things after Ellsworth said he could beat Styles for the title after "TLC." After some verbal jabs between Ambrose and Styles, AJ shoved Ellsworth into Ambrose causing Dean to hit a ladder in the ring. Styles smashed part of the steel steps on Ambrose, then destroyed Ellsworth inside and outside the ring. He finished him with a Styles Clash from off half the steel steps outside the ring.

After commercials, Ellsworth was taken away on a stretcher and put into an ambulance. Ambrose got in with him saying it was his fault and he'd make things right.

The Wyatt Family in action

In singles action, Luke Harper attended to send Kane to hell as Bray Wyatt had ordered earlier. However, the "Devil's Favorite Demon" was comfortable being on his current level in the ring. In the match, both stars battle back and forth late in the contest, but Kane grabbed Harper for a big chokeslam to put him away.

In the main event, Bray Wyatt and "The Viper" Randy Orton challenged American Alpha. The winners would get to go on to "TLC" on Sunday to challenge Heath Slater and Rhyno for the tag titles. Jason Jordan and Chad Gable made a late comeback in the match but the lights went out and Luke Harper appeared. That distraction helped Orton get in the ring to hit an RKO on Gable.

Moments later, Bray hit Sister Abigail on Jordan to get the pinfall win.

With the victory, Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton will take on Slater and Rhyno Sunday for the tag titles. In addition, Becky Lynch learned that on Sunday she'll defend her title against Alexa Bliss in a tables match, which should add to an already stacked card.

The show closed with AJ Styles getting attacked backstage by Dean Ambrose after what he did to his buddy Ellsworth earlier. After tonight's "SmackDown Live" results, "Tables, Ladders & Chairs" will certainly be an event to watch!
