According to Deloitte, an accountant agency, in their annual Money Football League report, Europe still remains the dominant figure in the world of soccer, with the majority of the teams in the ranking from the European continent.

Within the European continent, the English Premier League (EPL) still leads the list as five out of the 10 richest clubs in the world, thanks to the legacy of the English Premier League.Also on the list of the 10 richest soccer clubs in the world are two teams from Germany, and two from Italy.

1. Real Madrid, Spain ($657 million)

Real Madrid has maintained its lead as the biggest soccer club in the world as the team was voted by FIFA as theEuropean Club of the 20th century. The club can comfortably boast of having some of the world’s best and most expensive players -- the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and others. The overall revenue of the team remains healthy and growing by the year due to huge ticket and shirt sales, and also TV rights sales.

2. Barcelona FC, Spain ($638 million)

The second on the list is Barcelona FC with a net worth of $638 million. The club is owned in a cooperative manner, shares cannot be purchased in the club, but only by membership representation. The club currently has a membership of 140,000.

It has some of the best and finest players in the world, including Lionel Messi.

3. Manchester United, England $592 million)

The third richest soccer club is Manchester United of England. The team’s net worth is about $592 million. The club is one of the few clubs in the world to be listed in the New York Stock exchange in 2012.

4. Paris Saint Germain, France ($547 million)
