Joanna JedrzejczykIt is determined to win against Karolina Kowalkiewicz on Saturday, November 12. She asked UFC president Dana White to arrange for her and Karolina Kowalkiewicz to fight and prove once and for all who is the undisputed straw-weight champion.

Joanna Jedrzejczyk and Karolina Kowalkiewicz, without a doubt, had the most intense staredown at the UFC 205 press conference. Joanna Jedrzejczyk has this way about rubbing her opponent's the wrong way by being confrontational and putting her forehead against them. But, Karolina Kowalkiewicz had no reaction to the champion's intimidation, so Joanna decided to head-butt her.

The champion has a mean streak

Arrogant and confident, Joanna is currently undefeated in the straw-weight 115-pound weight class. Joanna Jedrzejczyklt has told people since she was young that one day she would be the champion of the world. Having gained lots of experience in the past ten years, Joanna uses speed and power to destroy her challengers. She discourages her opponent's ability to fight back.

When she took the title belt in March 2015, champion Carla Esparza ended up emotionally broken. Joanna admits she is her toughest critic and is obsessed with becoming a better fighter every day. To her credit, Joanna has defended her straw-weight title three times and still fights like an unknown amateur fighter.

She relocated from Poland to train in South Florida and practices with top fighters, such as Amanda Nunes, who is fighting Ronda Rousey at UFC 207.

Karolina Kowalkiewicz is one of the most low-key fighters in the sport

Karolina is easy-going and soft spoken, and has always looked up to Joanna Jedrzejczyklt.

She is also undefeated in the straw-weight division and has moved up through the UFC ranks quickly. She is humble about her success in the UFC and amateur career. Although she doesn't appear aggressive, when she steps into the octagon, Karolina transforms into an animal.

"My admiration for Joanna Jedrzejczyklt is all behind me, and I want the straw-weight title belt around my waist," Kowalkiewicz said at the UFC 205 press conference.

Joanna Jedrzejczyklt stated that she wants to retire undefeated and refuses to let anyone take away her hopes and dreams. But, MMA critics worry that it may not be that easy because she and Karolina are evenly matched. Polish people are born fighters, and she may have met her match with Karolina Kowalkiewicz.
