Doug Marrone ended his Bills tenure on a sour note. At the end of the 2014 season, Marrone chose to exercise a clause in his contract that would allow him to earn a head coach salary while not working for the Bills. This decision came at the end of a season in which the Bills went 9-7, offering hope to fans who desperately wanted it. Marrone instead sought another head coaching job but came up empty in his efforts. He is now an assistant coach for the Jacksonville Jaguars, a massive fall from where he once was.

Rex Ryan as Bills Head Coach.

The jury is still out on whether Rex Ryan is a good Bills head coach.

The one thing you can't deny is that the man has passion for his team and he let's it extend into the games. And when asked about what Doug Marrone did to the Bills years ago, this was Ryan's reply.

And you have to believe him! Rex Ryan gives everything to this team and doesn't hold anything back in his support for players. Doug Marrone, in contrast, was an emotionless wreck who refused to hand out any praise to players even when warranted. It's that kind of treatment that has noted Bills writer Joe Buscaglia mocking him constantly with Tweets like this.

Upcoming Jacksonville Jaguars Game.

The Bills really need to win this game if they are going to have a chance at the playoffs.

Last time these teams met, Jacksonville benefitted from a highly questionable pass interference penalty that helped them win the game. Think Rex Ryan doesn't remember that? Think again.

The scene likely still remains a dark place in the heart of a man who was in the middle of a playoff race last year.

And a loss would be even worse this year and would likely add another year to the Buffalo Bills playoff drought. But Ryan doesn't think it will be easy against what he described as the "best two win" team in football.

That poor performance is likely due to the worst turnover differential in the league. Blake Bortles and the Jaguars currently sit at -15, a disastrous number for a team that has given a number of games away thanks to fumbles and interceptions. The Bills will look to take advantage of that on Sunday and make sure to get their revenge against Doug Marrone and the Jaguars.
