On Sunday, the Patriots vs. Jets live stream and TV game will be among the featured late afternoon matchups on the 2016 NFL schedule. Tom Brady and New England are in search of their second-straight win after taking down Colin Kaepernick and the 49ers in San Francisco. The New York Jets are a team in disarray, hoping to salvage what's left of their season and possibly pick up some new pieces to the puzzle. Can they take down their AFC division rival on Sunday? NFL live streaming and televised coverage are available through multiple sources.

Patriots at top of AFC

The 8-2 New England Patriots had an identical record to the Oakland Raiders as of this report.

However, Oakland is considered No. 1 seed while the Pats would be No. 2. If New England wants home-field advantage through the postseason they'll need to keep on winning and hope for an Oakland loss or two.

Last weekend's game featured the Patriots defeating the 49ers 30-17 in Santa Clara. Tom Brady threw for 280 yards and four touchdowns on 24-of-40 completed passes. LeGarrette Blount was also key, rushing for 124 yards on 19 carries. While both teams played "mistake-free" Football and nearly had the same amount of time possessing the ball, the Pats were just too much for San Francisco. That could be the case with today's opponents too.

Jets last in AFC East

The New York Jets currently own a 3-7 record and are basement dwellers in the AFC East.

It's believed at this point in the season they're competing for a high NFL draft pick or a potential trade in the offseason to improve their chances. Their three wins have come against the Buffalo Bills, Baltimore Ravens, and the winless Cleveland Browns.

That said, the Jets are losers of seven of their last 10 games including last week's 9-6 loss at home to the Bengals.

In the contest, quarterback Bryce Petty got his first start of the season but was picked off with under two minutes remaining. Based on that result and others this season, the question is whether or not this Jets lineup has enough offense or defense to handle today's team and it seems doubtful.

How to watch live & game odds

For today's game, Tom Brady and the Pats are eight-point favorites at the Jets. On the moneyline, New England is a -360 favorite while the Jets are +300 underdogs. The over/under points total for the complete game is 47 points heading into this latest AFC game.
