For Monday night's hoops action, the Charlotte Hornets vs. Memphis Grizzlies live stream and televised match-up is among those to watch. Both teams are currently in the mix for the early playoff contenders. Charlotte was able to snap their recent skid with a win against New York but will be without several injured players for this game. The Memphis Grizzlies will host the Hornets in live streaming or TV action and will try to go 2-0 against them for the season. Can Mike Conley and Marc Gasol lead the way at home for another big Memphis win? The televised and live stream Grizzlies game will be available through multiple sources on Monday night.

Hornets missing players

Three players have been listed as "out" for the Charlotte Hornets ahead of tonight's game. The latest injury report notes that shooting guards Nic Batum and Marco Belinelli will both be out of action. In addition, starting power forward Nic Batum will be sidelined. That may not matter based on the team's previous effort, which was parked by a hero who is normally on the bench.

Guard Jeremy Lamb was huge in the team's 107-102 victory over the Knicks this past Saturday. Not only did he record 18 points, but he snatched 17 rebounds, the best effort by any guard in the category so far this NBA season. Lamb was put into the starting lineup along with his former UCONN Huskies teammate Kemba Walker and the team shined.

They'll look for more production from Lamb and others in the absence of the three players mentioned.

Can Grizz repeat performance?

About a week ago, the Mike Conley helped the Memphis Grizzlies defeat Charlotte 105-90 on the road.

Conley finished with 31 points in the game to propel the team to their then-fifth-straight victory. Over their last 10 games, Memphis is 7-30 and currently sits at 11-6 overall, good for second in the Southwest Division.

Conley will be back on the court again, but can he repeat his performance or will the Hornets' game plan focus on shutting him down?

The matchup involving Conley and Kemba Walker could be fun to watch. However, in the Grizzlies' recent win over the Miami Heat, it was Marc Gasol aka "Big Spain" who came up huge with a 28-point effort.

The Grizzlies will remain without the services of big man Zach Randolph ahead of tonight's game. He'll miss a third-straight contest due to taking a personal leave after his mother's death.
