McGregor has to add new tools to his game plan

In his first fight with Nate Diaz, it was his lack of stamina behind his loss. The Irishman was completely exhausted by the second round of the fight. Then, in a matter of seconds he shot in for the takedown, and it eventually led to his first loss in the Octagon.

Conor McGregor should incorporate leg kicks in his game plan. Kicks to the legs will take away the overall power of Eddie Alvarez. McGregor needs to be very defensive with Eddie Alvarez' takedowns; they are key in this bout. McGregor's sprawls have worked very well in the past. Another defense against Eddie Alvarez ground game is for Conor McGregor to apply pressure with his boxing.

Eddie Alvarez is a double treat for Conor McGregor

Conor McGregor won his last fight against Nate Diaz in their rematch by majority decision.

But, Conor McGregor's confidence and ground game weakness were exposed. Eddie Alvarez who is known as "The Underground King," defeated Dos Anjos with his stand up. He has a strong background in boxing and wrestling; it makes him very hard to fight with. Experts think Eddie Alvarez will try to take McGregor down to the mat. Tune in tonight November,12 from Madison Square Garden to see if Connor McGregor will be the first UFC fighter to hold two belts in history.
