Fantasy Footballcan be very difficultto predict. But fantasy owners do their best every week to select the starters that will deliver the most points for them every week. This week features some intriguing matchups for some of the top fantasy defenses in the league. Let's take a look at the ten best options for fantasy owners in week 7.

1. Vikings D/ST.

The Vikings defense at this point can only be characterized as absurd. The unit is averaging 16.8 fantasy points per game and has scored in double digits in every game except one. Now Minnesota will get to take on an Eagles team that just scored its only two touchdowns against the Redskins on special teams and defense.

Wentz is struggling enough for the Vikings to be an elite play, even on the road.

2. Bengals D/ST.

The Cleveland Browns are 0-6 and have yielded double digit fantasy points to half of opposing defenses thus far. The Bengals are a 10 point home favorite and should have plenty of opportunities to generate turnovers against a Browns team that will be playing a majority of the game from behind.

3. Broncos D/ST.

The Broncos are a top five fantasy defense and have averaged double digit fantasy points this year. Now Denver will get to take on a poor Houston Texans offenseat home. Brock Osweiler hasn't been the quarterback the Texans have been hoping for and he will likely throw at least one interception against the elite Broncos defense.

4. Packers D/ST.

Green Bay hasn't had a good offense all year, but their defense has actually been solid. In week 7, the Packers get to take on a Bears team that only managed to score six points against a weak Jaguars defense. Expect a big fantasy performance from this unit on Thursday night.

5. Eagles D/ST.

The Eagles managed to salvage their fantasy day against the Redskins in week 6 by scoring two touchdowns. The fantasy defense is currently averaging double digits and will get to play at home on Sunday in what will likely be a low scoring game against the Vikings. Fantasy owners can start this defense with confidence in week 7.

6. Texans D/ST.

The Broncos might be close to a touchdown favorite, but that doesn't mean this game won't be low scoring. If the Texans are going to have a chance, they'll need a huge performance against a Broncos offense that struggled against the Chargers last night. Expect a decent fantasy outing from a Texans defensethat loves to get after the quarterback.

7. Bills D/ST.

The Buffalo Bills shut down Ryan Tannehill on the road last season and should be poised to do so again this week. The Bills are riding a four game winning streak and carry all that momentum into Miami, where they will try to make it five in a row. Bills fans travel well and will be riled up enough for the defense to turn in a big fantasy performance.

8. Chiefs D/ST.

It seems a bit silly to put a fantasy defense going up against an offense that just scored 41 points on this list, but it's actually quite reasonable. The Saints simply aren't the same team on the road and the Chiefs are finally starting to hit their stride after a rocky start. The Chiefs are a somewhat risky play in week 7, but the payoff will be worth it.

9. Patriots D/ST.

If Ben Roethlisberger can't go, this unit immediately becomes a must-start in week 7. The Steelers proved they were incompetent without him against the Dolphins are probably won't look much better against a Patriots defensethat is playing its best football right now.

10.Cardinals D/ST.

It's hard to recommend either the Seahawks or the Cardinals defense in this game, but I'll take the home team here.

The Cardinals have one of the best big-play defenses in the league and are currently second in fantasy scoring. They will have trouble against the Seahawks in week 7, but could still be a solid fantasy play against a Seahawks offense that has struggled at times.
