Team news (India)

India is leading the series 1-0 after marking a convincing 6 wicket win in the first game.

Skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni will be sticking to the playing eleven which played the first match, as he is not willing to change the winning combination. Suresh Raina, even in the midst of injury batted for two sessions yesterday, but he will be unavailable for this match too.

As the pitch is spin friendly, M S Dhoni will rely on the part-time bowling capability of Rohit Sharma.

The pace attack of the team will be led by Umesh Yadav, and he will be supported by Axar Patel and Jasprit Bumrah.

Team news (New Zealand)

For New Zealand, Trent Boult and Matt Henry will make their way to the playing eleven. Either Doug Bracewell or Ish Sodhi will be asked to sit on the bench. The New Zealand captain Kane Williamson believes that Ish Sodhi will be a better option than Bracewell, as he has that extra wicket taking ability.

Pitch and weather conditions

The surface at theFeroz Sha Kotla is flat, and it will be an absolute paradise. Spinners too have something from this pitch, but it will be a real hell like outing for the pacers, as the ball will directly come on to the bay without any swing.

The weather is expected to be sunny, and the temperature will vary from 34 to 35 degree Celsius. Being a day-night match, in all probabilities, the skipper who wins the toss will opt to bat first as chasing will not be an easy deal.
