The highlight of this Monday Night Raw was Goldberg’s long awaited return

The former WCW superstar came back to one of the biggest pops in recent history. The level of intensity was high all round the area, especially during his promo. There was so much emotion in his promo that probably forgot about how much of a beast he is. Instead we were awed by the level of humility he presented at the beginning and how he carried himself throughout his promo; as a legend. Most likely, that will be the last time you will see him as a friendly big man.

The end of his promo was strong as he addressed Brock Lesnar; saying “Brock Lesnar, not only does that mean that you’re next.

But most importantly it means; Brock Lesnar, you’re last!” Those were pretty powerful words for the former WCW World Heavyweight Champion. What exactly does Goldberg mean by “…Brock Lesnar, you’re last!”? This can possibly be a confirmation that this will be Goldberg’s final match before retiring. As we know, at Wrestlemania XX, Goldberg left the WWE with a lot heat from the crowd. That was not the best way to go out, especially for star of Goldberg’s caliber. Now with a huge crowd supporting Goldberg, this will be the best way to end his wrestling career.

For many other fans, that is probably a disappointment

There are many dream matches going on in their minds. If this is a one-time deal, well it’s understandable as to why fans will be disappointed.

In reality, they shouldn’t see it that way. As mentioned before, Goldberg left on bad terms. So, with no proper send off, how would fans remember him in WWE? It won’t be pretty.

If the plan is for Goldberg to have only one match, that is perfectly fine. He has accomplished everything that he can and he has defeated many of the most important competitors throughout his career.

With one final match and a victory in WWE, that will conclude the career of Bill Goldberg on a high note. Personally speaking, this is also about finally resolving his relationship and career with WWE before he actually retires.
