Week 5 saw some truly great fantasy performances from players like Tom Brady, LeSean McCoy, and Adam Vinatieri. But there were many more players who disappointed their fantasy owners with several very weak performances in week 5. Here are the five biggest fantasy disappointments this week.

1. A.J. Green.

The Bengals wide receiver has been very hit or miss this season and was a huge miss on Sunday. Green posted onlyfive fantasy points just one week after recording 23 fantasy points against the Miami Dolphins. The Cowboys completely shut Green down and left fantasy owners everywhere disappointed with his production.

The inconsistent receiver has scored double digit point totals just twiceand should be traded if possible.

2. Isaiah Crowell.

The Browns running back has been one of the best fantasy players this season, but struggled mightily against the Patriots. Crowell scored just 3 fantasy points and recorded just 22 rushing yards on 13 carries. The Patriots defense absolutely shut him down and the game script prevented Crowell from running the ball too much. Cleveland's current quarterback situation makes it hard to see how Crowell can continue to be productive moving forward.

3. Julio Jones.

Wait what? Didn't Julio just have more than 300 receiving yards last week? He did, but was held to just 29 receiving yards in a week 5 Falcons victory over the Denver Broncos.

Fantasy owners were left disappointed with a player who had scored 36 fantasy points in the week before. For many, the game served as a reminder of how volatile a game like fantasy Football can be.

4. Kenneth Dixon.

Fantasy playerswho were expecting a big game from Dixon in his first NFL start were left disappointed by a performance that saw the Ravens running back score zero fantasy points.

Terrance West instead got a majority of the carries and rushed for more than 90 yards on just 11 carries. West is the Ravens back to trust moving forward until Dixon proves he can be a NFL starter.

5. Joe Flacco.

The Ravens quarterback hasn't played a huge role in the offense and couldn't take advantage of a fantastic matchup against one of the worst pass defenses in the league.

Flacco passed for just one touchdown and scored 12 fantasy points in what should have been a big game for the Ravens quarterback. At this point, it's fair to open up a roster spot by dropping Flacco for another capable fantasy player.
