Week 7 of the fantasy Football season brought plenty of surprises to fantasy owners. Dolphins running back Jay Ajayi, who was pretty much worthless at one point this season, has exploded onto the scene with two 200 yard rushing performances. But that's a more positive story. This article will focus on five fantasy players who have currently lost too muchvalue to justify a roster spot.

1. Stefon Diggs.

I warned you about this guy. After a fantastic performance against the Packers in which he scored 24 fantasy points, Diggs has done pretty much nothing. The Vikings top target has scored just 9 fantasy points in his last four games, a bad recipe for fantasy owners who should be looking for better options on the waiver wire right now.

2. Blake Bortles.

The Jacksonville quarterback has been a massive fantasy disappointment all season long. Bortles was a top ten fantasy quarterback last season, but currently ranks 19th at the position. Bortles has 11 turnovers in just six games and has scored more than 20 fantasy points just once. It's time to look elsewhere for a quarterback if you are a Blake Bortles owner.

3. Jeremy Kerley.

The 49ers receiver was a favorite target of Blaine Gabbert, but clearly has no chemistry with Colin Kaepernick. Kerley has scored just 2 fantasy points in two games and is clearly no longer worthy of a roster spot in any fantasy leagues.

4. Jalen Richard.

The return of Latavius Murray in week 7 spelled the end for Richard's fantasy value.

The Raiders running back has now scored zero fantasy points in his last two games and definitely doesn't have any value with Latavius back in the fold. Drop him now and see if there are any other good running backs on the waiver wire.

5. Antonio Gates.

The 36 year old tight end has taken a back seat in the Chargers offense and has lost work thanks to the emergence of Hunter Henry.

Gates hasn't had a single double digit fantasy game this season and it doesn't look like he'll be delivering one any time soon thanks to the bevy of weapons that quarterback Philip Rivers has at his disposal.
