The college footballplayoff picture is becoming clearer every week, and Week 6 marks the halfway point for many teams this season. The best games of Week 6 in college Football don't match the caliber of last week, but should be entertaining nonetheless.

4. #25 Virginia Tech Hokies at #17 North Carolina Tar Heels, Saturday 3:30 ET

Nobody saw Virginia Tech's rise coming. Frank Beamer retired after three decades as the coach of the Hokies, allowing Justin Fuente to turn the tide in his first season as coach. North Carolina just scored a last-second upset of Florida State, throwing momentum firmly on their side in the ACC.

Prediction: North Carolina 35, Virginia Tech 33

3. #23 Florida State Seminoles at #10 Miami Hurricanes, Saturday 8:00 ET

These teams are in the opposite position expected at the beginning of the year. Florida State has struggled with the growing pains of a freshman quarterback, an injured defense, and coaching rumors surrounding Jimbo Fisher. Miami has one of the best pro prospect quarterbacks in Brad Kaaya. There's some question as to whether or not this game will get played due to the wrath of Hurricane Matthew in the Southeast United States.Prediction: Florida State 30, Miami 27

2. #1 Alabama Crimson Tide at #16 Arkansas Razorbacks, Saturday 7:00 ET

Alabama is having little issue dispatching overmatched opponents, but the Razorbacks always seem to give them a good game.

Coach Bret Bielema finally seems to have his team on the rise; being on the rise doesn't mean you have a fighting chance against the perennial heavyweight from Tuscaloosa. Prediction: Alabama 31, Arkansas 17

1. #9 Tennessee Volunteers at #8 Texas A&M Aggies, Saturday 3:30 ET

Both of these teams are surprisingly undefeated and contending for the SEC crown this season.

It took a miracle for the Volunteers to maintain that status against Georgia last week, but momentum is likely on their side. The Aggies have the best home crowd in college football ("The 12th Man").Prediction: Texas A&M 33, Tennessee 24
