The second warm-up game between England XI and Bangladesh Cricket Board XI (BCB) is being played at the MA Aziz Stadium in Chittagong.onOctober 16-17, 2016.

The BCB XI dominated the proceedings till the lunch break but could not stop the English bowlers from taking wickets at regular intervals.

English openers Ben Duckett and Haseeb Hameed batted till stumps, and there was no damage in the last four overs. The hosts made 294 all out in 74.4 overs. Spinners dominated the bowling with Zafar Ansari finishing with a haul of 4 wickets followed by Gareth Batty who finished with a haul of two wickets.

Stuart Broad also contributed with two wickets while Chris Woakes and Moeen Ali got one wicket each.

Mazid was ruthless and punished any loose or full-length balls for boundaries. He hit 14 boundaries a one six mostly playing on his front foot. He was 92 off 86 balls by lunch. Soumya Sarkar’s bad run continued and gave a simple catch at cover. He made just4 runs. Majid steadied with Shanto with a partnership of 76 runs.

But this game is not been streamed live.

Majid, however, did not bat after lunch due to a muscle cramp.

It is not clear if Saumya will play in the Test. Shanto and Mosaddek Hussein batted with confidence and added 72 runs off 130 balls. Santo made 72 came off 130 balls before he was caught at point.

Majid played flamboyantly, especially while lofting balls. However, Santo was more settled and compactly and he will have more depth in the Bangla batting lineup.

Majid returned after the fall of Tanveer’s wicket and completed his century. However, he did not last long after that and fell when his individual score of 106.

The first Test between the host and visitors will be played on 20 October. Bangladesh has included two specialists off spinners in their squad for the Test team. Batsman Sabbir Rahman has been included in the Bangla squad after a scintillating performance in the first two One-Day International.
