The England cricket team is touring Bangladesh to playthree One-Day Internationals and two Tests.The first ODI will be played on October 7 at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka followed by two other matches on October 09 and 12 respectively.

The English tour began with a warm-up match win over a Bangladesh Cricket Board Select XI on Wednesday.

The depth of the English batting was evident as they easily chased down 309 runs put up on board by the BCB XI. Joss Buttler who is leading the English side in ODI, showed some flawless batting skills along with Moeen Ali in the warm-up game, and it has raised the morale of the team to a great extent.

The team will surely miss the service of regular Captain Eoin Morgan who backed out from the series citing security reasons. Check out the match highlights in photos.

Adil Rashid will be atrump card for the England team in this series, as this right-arm leg break bowler is capable of winning games in these spin-friendly Bangladesh pitches. But Sabbir Rahman, the star batsman of Bangladesh is confident and not at all concerned about his turn to bat against the Englishattack.

Bangladesh won the three ODI series against Afghanistan 2-1. But the hosts cannot play the same way they did against the strong England team.

Fixture with date and time

The venue of the 2nd ODI also is Shere Bangla Stadium, while the third will be played at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, Chittagong. Both these stadiums are batting friendly, and the curators expect a heavy run feast.

All the day/night ODI matches will start at 2:30 p.m. local, 9.30 AM UK time (02.00 PM IST).

The first and second Test matches will be played on October 20 and 28 respectively. The Tests start time is 09.00 AM IST (04.00 AM BST).
