Ban vs Eng 2016 series was doubtful

The series was doubtful especially after the horrific terrorist attack in July when suspected ISIS militants killed 20 people including many foreigners.

Earlier Australia had canceled its tour due to security concerns. The two teams were to play two Test matches, but the killing of an Italian diplomat led to the cancellation of the tour.

Bangladesh team news

Captain Mashrafe Mortaza is recuperating from an ankle injury, and there is a big question mark on whether he will play or not.

Mushfiqur Rahim has been excellent with the bat and had scored a 51 to help Bangladesh past the 300 mark in the warm-up tie. Taskin Ahmed is back, and he can rattle the English batsmen.

He along with Al-Amin Hossain will make a deadly pace duo that can rip through any good team.

Newcomer Mosaddek Hossain has his task etched out for him and so will the comeback of Mosharraf Hossain, who took three wickets. However, all eyes will be on match-winner Shakib Al-Hasan, who can turn the tide against the best opposition.
