Completing a three week UFC event streak, UFC Fight Night: Lineker vs. Dodson offers one of the biggest male bantamweight fights so far this year. Let's get into it!

Louis Smolka vs. Brandon Moreno

Former PXC flyweight champion, Louis Smolka is coming off of a "Performance of the Night" finish over Ben Nguyen in July. The Judo brown belt lands 50% of his strikes and scores 35% of his takedown attempts, making him one of the most elite flyweights in the world. Brandon Moreno will be making his UFC debut on Saturday. He is currently riding an 8 fight win streak, but that may not be enough to make him mentally ready for his first trip to the octagon -- one of the most nerve-racking walks in the world.

Louis Smolka should easily dispatch his short notice opponent by way of submission.

Joshua Burkman vs. Zak Ottow

Thirteen year veteran, Joshua Burkmanmay have lost a few steps since his return to the UFC, but he is still a competent fighter with much more experience than his opponent. Zak Ottow is a little-known grappler with a few wins under his belt. He is yet to face any recognizable talent, however, and will also be feeling the effects of his first walk to the octagon. Joshua Burkman should be able to gain momentum with a decision victory as he looks to put his career back on track.

Will Brooks vs. Alex Oliveira

Will Brooksis a former Bellator lightweight champion who has only suffered one defeat in twenty fights.

When first entering the UFC in a fight against Ross Pearson, Brooks put on an underwhelming performance, gaining a decision victory over the aging fighter. He will be looking to recapture the attention of the MMA world as he steps into the cage to take on Alex Oliveir."Cowboy" has a formidable stand-up game and underrated submission abilities, but he may struggle against his opponent's wrestling prowess and ability to quickly close the distance with well-timed leg kicks.

This fight should be an exciting series of exchanges that end with Will Brooks' hand raised in victory.

John Lineker vs. John Dodson

The main event features two of the most dangerous bantamweight strikers in the world. John Lineker is riding a five fight win streak and appears to have put his weight-cutting issues behind him after his return to bantamweight.

John Dodson is looking to establish himself in a new weight class after being one of the top flyweight contenders over the past four years. This bout has the potential to be a fight of the year contender, pitting power against speed. When the dust settles, John Lineker's hands of stone should propel him into the title picture.
