The real start of fantasy Football season is upon us, and people will have to make plenty of decisions about who they should play. Who belongs on the bench? Who should I start? Are there any sleepers who could help me win my week 1 fantasy football matchup?

Now, thanks to injuries, there are some players who have a unique opportunity to put up some big numbers in week 1.

1. Jay Ajayi gets left in Miami

The Miami Dolphins left the player who was supposed to be their starting running back behind for their week one matchup against the Seattle Seahawks. Now Arian Foster will get an opportunity to carry a full workload in his first NFL game as a Dolphin.

But it will be tough for Foster to put up big numbers on a Seahawks defense that was the best against opposing fantasy running backs last year. Still, Foster is talented enough that he should be able to put up some solid numbers in week 1.

2. Christine Michael gets a chance with Thomas Rawls injured

The Seahawks tabbed Michael as their week 1 starter thanks to an injury that continues to limit expected starter, Thomas Rawls. Rawls will still get carries, but Michael will be the lead dog in the Seahawks offense for week 1.

Michael will get his opportunity against a Miami defense that allowed the most fantasy points to opposing running backs last season. If he does well, Michael could might even have a chance to take the starting job away from Rawls.

3. Martellus Bennett starts with Gronkowski out

The Patriots will be without star tight end Rob Gronkowski in week 1 thanks to a nagging hamstring injury. That leaves the door open for former Bears tight end Martellus Bennett to have a huge game.Jimmy Garoppolo will be looking to make short, simplethrows, and Bennett will be a pretty safe option thanks to his height.

At 6 foot 6, Bennett will be a matchup nightmare for anybody who tries to guard him. The Patriots will be far more willing to integrate Martellus Bennett into the offense if he can take advantage of this awesome opportunity in week 1.

4. Spencer Ware gets a chance as the chiefs Starter

Jamaal Charles is currently listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the San Diego Chargers and will likely not play.

That opens the door for Ware, who will get a majority of the carries in week 1.

He'll have to compete with Charcandrick West, but Ware is the guy who usually takes the handoffs. Ware will have an excellent opportunity to impress thanks to an excellent matchup against a Chargers defense that was really bad against the run last season.
