The fantasy Football season has begun with several surprises. Vikings wide receiver Stefon Diggs has immediately formed chemistry with quarterback Sam Bradford. Expected stars like Sammy Watkins and Coby Fleener have been flops. And certain sleeper quarterbacks like Matt Ryan and Derek Carr have led the fantasy world in scoring. Which sleepers will continue to add to that list in week 3 of the fantasy football season?

1. Michael Thomas.

Rookie Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas has already carved out a role for himself within the Saints offense. Thomas has recorded more than 50 receiving yards in each of the first two games and is quickly becoming Drew Brees' third favorite target.

In week 3, Thomas will get to play at home against an Atlanta Falcons defense that has already been shredded by the Buccaneers and Raiders. Expect a decent fantasy game for the Saints wide receiver.

2. Christine Michael.

It's hard to trust the Seahawks offense after two awful performances in the first two weeks of the season. This week, things will change for a Seahawks team that gets to play against the 49ers at home. The 49ers have a poor run defense and Michael should be able to take advantage of that. Unfortunately, Michael fumbled the ball and will need to win back the trust of Seahawks coaches to get the ball. I'm betting on Michael's pure talent and expect the Seahawks running back to put up some big numbers in week 3.

3. Anquan Boldin.

Earlier in the week, I wrote about Anquan Boldin as a potential waiver wire target. Boldin should get some opportunities to produce in week 3 against a Green Bay team that will likely be playing from ahead. Boldin scored a touchdown and had another one wiped away by penalty in week 2, so he should be a solid fantasy option in what will likely be a pass happy game with Abdullah out.

4. Marcus Mariota.

Mariota hasn't scored more than twenty fantasy points in any week of the year, but that will change against a Raiders defense that has already allowed two huge games to Matt Ryan and Drew Brees so far. Mariota is a fringe QB1 in week 3 and should be started over other quarterbacks like Tyrod Taylor, Andy Dalton, and Kirk Cousins.

5. Cowboys D/ST.

You know what team really likes giving away to points to fantasy defenses? The Chicago Bears. The Eagles absolutely destroyed the Bears offense in week 2, and that was withJay Cutler! Now the Bears are starting a second string quarterback who might turn the ball over even more than captain Jay in week 3. Start the Cowboys defense with confidence and pick them up on the waiver wire if they are available.
