Fantasy Football season is closing in and soon it will be time to make some tough decisions with your fantasy football teams. So far, I've taken a look atsome players who belong on the bench, some sleepers, and some high quality stars. In this article I'm going to make a few bold predictions for week 1 of the fantasy football season.

1. Tyrod Taylor will lead all fantasy Quarterbacks in scoring

The Buffalo Bills quarterback will make his return to Baltimore, where he takes on a pass defense that was one of the worst in the league last season. Combine that with the storyline and the fact that Tyrod can get points with his legs, and you have an absolutely lethal combination.

Expect the Bills star quarterback to have a big week and get more than twenty fantasy points in week 1.

2. Kai Forbath: Fantasy Kicker of the week

The Saints kicker will be involved in a game with the Oakland Raiders that could easily get out of control with a highpoint total. Right now, the over/under for the game is set at a total of 51 points, tied for the highest total of the week. Expect the Saints kicker to get plenty of opportunities to put fantasy points on the board in week 1.

3. Spencer Ware: top five RB in week 1

The Chiefs relied on Jamaal Charles a ton when he was healthy last season. If Charles can't play in week 1, Ware will get the nod and will have plenty of opportunities to put up fantasy points in a run first Chiefs offense.

Ware will also get to take on a Chargers defense that was absolutely awful against the run last season. The first time Ware played the Chargers, he put up 21 fantasy points. Expect similar numbers this week, as long as Charles is out or limited.

4. The Texans D/ST: top scoring Defense

The Houston Texans will take on a Chicago Bears team in week 1 that is completely devoid of any offensive skill.

Jay Cutler is a turnover machine and will be sacked multiple times by a ferocious Texans defense led by J.J. Watt. Expect at least a touchdown for the Texans defense and even more fantasy points as a result of turnovers from a mistake-prone Bears offense.

5. Jared Cook: double-digit Fantasy Points

This prediction doesn't sound bold on the surface, but Cook has to contend with fellow tight end Richard Rodgers for targets.

I'm betting that Cook's pure talent and speed will win out and that he will take full advantage of an excellent opportunity against the Jaguars defense. Aaron Rodgers has never had a tight end of this quality and he shouldlook to Cook early and often in week 1.
