It was another weekend of close games and offensive showcases as the Big Ten East Division continued their non-conference play.

Indiana vs. Ball State

The Indiana Hoosiers took down the Ball State Cardinals at home by a final score of 30-20. Richard Lagow had a big day at Quarterback throwing for three touchdowns and 266 yards. Wide receiver Nick Westbrook caught two of the touchdown passes to record his first two scores of the season. Kicker Griffin Oakes was three-for-three in the field goal department, including a 49-yard field goal at the end of the first half.

Maryland vs. Florida International

After a massive ground attack last weekend, the Maryland Terrapins swapped offensive production roles on Friday as they scored three touchdowns through the air. Quarterback Perry Hills had three touchdown passes and 210 yards off of 13 completions. D.J. Moore was Hills go to man as he hauled in two touchdown receptions and 147 yards on six receptions. The Terrapins never looked in danger of losing in this one as they won comfortably by a final score of 41-14.

Michigan vs. Central Florida

The Michigan Wolverines put on another offensive showcase as they defeated the Central Florida Knights 51-14. It was the usual suspects for the home side with quarterback Wilton Speight leading the way with four touchdown passes.

Tight end Jake Butt and wide receiver

Tight end Jake Butt and wide receiver Amara Darboh both had two touchdown receptions. Khalid Hill recorded two touchdowns on the ground as he punched it in for a from yards out twice. The Wolverines have outscored their opponents 114-17 in their opening two games.

Ohio State vs. Tulsa

A strong offensive performance on the ground was the difference for the Ohio State Buckeyes on Saturday afternoon. Tulsa put up a good fight in the first quarter as the game was tied 3-3 after the opening quarter. However, the home side would explode for 45 unanswered points to take a 48-3 win.

J.T. Barrett led the with two rushing touchdowns. Mike Weber and Dontre Wilson also contributed touchdowns to the ground attack. Defensively they produced two first-half pick six's and a total of four interceptions on the day.

Penn State vs. Pittsburgh

A spirited fourth-quarter comeback came up just short as the Penn State Nittany Lions fell to the Pittsburgh Panthers 42-39. After trailing 35-21 at the end of the third quarter the away side exploded for 18 points in the fourth quarter. However, a James Connor shovel pass touchdown reception proved to be the game-winning play as the Panthers held on to win it.

Saquon Barkley had a massive day on the ground, he rushed for four touchdowns on 20 carries. Quarterback Trace McSorley had 332 yards of passing and one touchdown pass.

Rutgers vs. Howard
