Sohail Khan, the stunning Pakistani pace bowler, displayed his full fury on the first day of the third Test, and it helped them in getting England all-out for 297.

The 32-year-old pacer picked the wickets of Alex Hales, James Vince and Joe Root who are considered to be the spinal cords of the England's batting department. Apart from this, he also grabbed two from the tail end, which made his total count to five.

First two days play report:

At the end of the second day, Pakistan is in a very strong position, and they have scored 257 runs for the loss of three wickets.

Mohamad Aamir and Rahat also gave adequate support to Sohail in this wicket taking spree, as they took a couple of wickets each. Interestingly, most of the English batsmen got a decent start, but all of them failed to make it big.

Alistair Cook scored 45 runs off 52 balls, while Gari Balance put up an impeccable show and blasted 70 before getting out to a Yaseer delivery. In the middle order, Moin fetched a valuable 63 for the home side.

The Men in Green batted beautifully on day 2; Azhar Ali smashed a magnificent 153 runs while Aslam gave him good company for 82 runs.

The visitors' batting performance in this Test series was not at all laudable, and they have not performed well against the England seamers. As we all know, Cook, the skipper is a very motivating leader, and he might have already planned some crucial tactics to combat the Pakistan batting.

The pitch in Edgbaston will turn spinner friendly in the coming days, and this adds the hope for Misbah Ul Haq.

The Asian team is well equipped in playing spinners, and this will help them on the course for sure.
