As part of their England tour, Pakistan willplay Ireland in the 2nd One Day International in Dublin on Saturday, August 20, 2016.

Ireland, minnows in world cricket lost the first ODI by a mammoth 250 runs which is huge in the 50-over format. The 153 scored by Sharjeel Khan played a significant role in Pak's first innings score of 337. The amazing part of his splendid batting display is, he scored it in such a quick time and just faced 83 delivery, smashing nine sixes and 16 boundaries.

In his batting, glimpses of the legendary hitter Afridi were seen. Shahid has the record for hitting the fastest hundreds.

The other batsmen failed to make a big score and only two others ShoaibMalik, and Nawaz were able to cross the half-century mark.

In reply, the clueless Ireland players were shot down for a paltry 82. Thanks to the superb bowling performance by spinner Imad Wasim who bowled just six overs and grabbed five wickets for just 14.

Umar Gul who was flown for this seriestook three wickets for 23 runs in five overs.

Three of their players got out for a duck, and no one crossed a fifty. Good news for Ireland was that their pacerMcCarthy bowled beautifully, and he was the pick of the bowlers after he took four wickets giving away 62 in his allotted ten overs.
