Whoa. Refresh the page. Is this really happening?

So, San Francisco is ready to ditch Colin Kaepernick after all the controversy? All they were looking for was a legitimate excuse, it seems.

According to NBC Sports, the team might be "jettisoning" Colin due to "Football reasons." Well, that could mean anything, couldn't it?

What exactly are Kaepernick's 'football reasons'?

Jay Glazer spoke to Fox Sports regarding Colin Kaepernick's situation. Glazer notes that Colin's career with the 49ers is definitely over.

"Regardless of politics or not, [Colin Kaepernick]has a very, very big uphill battle to make this team.I’d be shocked if he’s on the 49ers by the time this season ends.

"It has nothing to do with political views whatsoever. [Kaepernick]lost a ton of weight this offseason, had three surgeries, couldn’t work out, lost that double threat, that size-speed ratio.

"No political views, [Colin]just hasn’t been effective. He’s regressing as a player. I’d be shocked if he’s on this roster by the end of this year. He may not be on it in the next two weeks."

Whatever may be the case, rumor has it that Kaepernick could beaDallas hopeful, saysrecent trade rumors.

Will you seeColin Kaepernick as a Cowboy?

Nothing's set in stone yet, but according to Sportsrageous, Colin Kaepernick could replace veteran quarterback Tony Romo.

Given the Cowboys' vulnerability, they're possibly looking for someone more seasoned than Dak Prescott as the first line of offense.

Yet, this isn't to say that Prescott didn't and doesn't continue to shine, brightly.

While Kaepernick might be up for trade, the source notes that the Cowboys made an announcement regarding the vacancy.

Kaepernick's cool, but...

Colin could very well be a great fit. However, Dallas says it's looking at free agents, first and foremost, before considering any trades.

The rumor states that Colin Kaepernick wasn't Dallas' initial thoughts. Sportsrageous states that, at first, the Cowboys wanted Josh McCown of the Cleveland Browns.

However, his price tag was more expensive than Dallas wanted to spend.

Nevertheless, all in all, Kaepernick is the talk of the town. Do you think the 49ers will end up trading Colinto Dallas? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments below.
