Preseason games finally start today and Bears fans will get their first look at rising star Kevin White in game action. White has been excellent in training camp, consistently beating opposing cornerbacks and making leaping grabs.

Bears fans are salivating after watching that little clip.

It'sjust one glimpse of the potential for greatness that the young Bears receivercan reach in 2016. And some of that potential rests in the hands of quarterback Jay Cutler, with whom Kevin White appears to have an awesome relationship.

Kevin White and Jay Cutler

Former Bears tight end Martellus Bennett called Jay Cutler the worst quarterback in the NFL earlier thisyear. The man who stood behind Cutler after those awful comments was none other than his teammate Kevin White.

I'm pretty sure that was a compliment. Either way, Kevin White is confident that Cutler can put him in positions where he can make plays on the ball. The Bears will definitely need him to step as the #2 wide receiver that they were sorely lacking last season. The Bears are confident that he has the talent to do so. Opposing defenses will also be distracted by star wideout Alshon Jeffery, who will open up the field forhis fellow receiver.

Alshon Jeffery.

Alshon Jeffery is the main reason why Kevin White can have a huge year in 2016. Opposing defenses will beforced to place their best cornerback on Jeffery, who consistently pulls down ridiculous catches.Jeffery had 807 receiving yards and four touchdowns in just nine games last season, proof of his dominance when healthy. In his two prior seasons, Jeffery never failed to post more than 1000 receiving yards.

Because of his elite production, Kevin White should have no problem finding open space while he goes against the second best cornerback on opposing teams.

Bears Broncos Preseason Game.

Kevin White will finally get a chance to showcase what will make him one of the best receivers in 2016 on Thursday night. Alshon Jeffery has been struggling with injuries, and his status for this preseason game remains uncertain.

If he doesn't play, White will have plenty of opportunities to show off the chemistry that he has built with Jay Cutler this year. I'm hoping to see one of those incredible catches that will eventually make White one of the best receivers in the NFL.
