NFL Preseason

The NFL pre-season is a month long process where teams can find out a lot about their players. A lot of times, fans are anxious to watch any sort of Football, even when the scores do not matter. This is a great time to watch the new draft picks and how they perform in live situations. Over the past couple of years, many new faces emerge in the preseason. A lot of players are fighting for a spot on the roster, and this year is not different. Here are a couple of things that each team wants to know heading into this NFL pre-season.

  • Backup Depth
  • Health of Players
  • Special Teams
  • Team Chemistry

A lot of these questions cannot be answered until a real game is played.

Many NFL teams know who their quarterback and starting players are going to be. It is the 2nd and 3rd string players that must fight for a spot on the roster. Over time, this is a great opportunity for fans to get to experience a game without all of the stress that comes with it.

Packers: What to Watch.

For Packers fans, the past few years have been a little frustrating. Although the team is generally consistent, they are not going deep into the playoffs. Aaron Rodgers is one of the best quarterbacks in the league, and now is the perfect time for them to make a run in the playoffs. Something seems to not be clicking with this team to take them to the next level. Aaron Rodgers will probably not play very often in the preseason as the team already knows what to expect.

Here are a few things that Packers fans will be watching for this pre-season.

  • Offensive Line Play
  • Special Teams
  • Backup Quarterback

Colts: Return to Glory?

After a great rookie season, Andrew Luck and the Colts have been a little disappointing to fans. They are in one of the worst divisions in the NFL, but they still cannot muster a deep run into the playoffs.

The offensive line must get better in order for the team to take the next step and compete at a high level. A lot of people are concerned that the Colts are going to start slipping over the next few years as the Titans and Jaguars get better. Whatever ends up happening, the team must start playing at a higher level.

Andrew Luck just locked up a huge contract, so both sides are committed to making each other successful. Now is the time for the Colts to put together a great season and take the next step.
