Players and team news:

Even though the players of both squads know each other very well as they play for the Indian Premiere League, this five-day tournament is a different ball sport altogether.

The Indian unit that last played a match seven months ago will most probably consist the same playing XI with five bowlers including a frontline spinner.

In contrast, the hosts have many changes to their squad, a fresh opening pair, a rookie spinner and three other variations with a couple of comebacks!

In fact, six of their members that played last, have not been even selected, may be due to poor form or other reasons.

Pitch and toss details:

The track will behave well in favor of the batsman during the first two days as there is a bit of grass on it.There was rain just before the commencement of the contest and more is expected on day three and four.

The skipper winning the toss might opt to bat first to gain theadvantage of the warm, slow bounce situations.
