Making History.

Joe Maddon was very resourceful by putting three relievers into left field. Maddon put in Travis Wood, Spencer Patton, and Pedro Strop. Many Chicago Cubs fans are not shocked by the rotation of the players as Maddon likes to move everyone around from time to time.

On Monday's game, Maddon had Bryant play three different positions. He played at third base, right field and left field. He also ran a total of sixteen bases and had two doubles and three home runs.  In 2014 Rick Renteria had John Baker pitch the last inning because they had gone through the bullpen. John Baker pitched a scoreless inning, even with the bases loaded. That game was the longest with a time of six hours and twenty-seven minutes,
