The English Premier League (EPL) has just one day of footballing action before the 2015/2016 season comes to an end. We have witnessed non-stop action even before the season kicked off and during the season, including the records set and/or broken.

I am taking a look at what could possibly happen on the last day of the 2015/2016 EPL season.

There are the five (5) things that might happen at the end of the season:

No EPL Winner will be announced

Yes, it has not happened in the last two seasons, but Leicester City has done it this season. The EPL Champion emerged on Monday 2nd May 2016 when Eden Hazard's Goal confirmed it at Stamford Bridge in the match between Chelsea FC and Tottenham Hotspur which ended in a 2 all draw.

Leicester won their first ever English Premier League title since their inception.

Manchester City might finish in 3rd place or send Pep Guardiola to his first Europa League Game

Hold on! it is a probability that Pep Guardiola will be managing a club that will be playing in the UEFA Europa League - which will be his first? The Citizens must win their last game in order to play the qualifiers of the UEFA Champions League next season and hope their closest opponent, Arsenal FC losses on the last day of the season.

Tottenham Hotspur might finish ahead of Arsenal FC for the first time in 21 years

The Spurs side lost out on the EPL title after the draw against Chelsea and also lost their last game. The loss ensured that Arsenal FC has a fighting chance to go past them in the last game of the season if they drop any point.

Spurs have to win their last game in order to raise their heads up high this season for having broken the drought of not finishing higher than their city rivals in the Premier League since 1995.

Aston Villa FC "will" be relegated from the EPL for the first time.

The Villians will be relegated from the EPL no matter what happens in the end.

Aston Villa, since their inception, has not played in any other league except in EPL and has not been relegated from the top tier of English Football. This is their first time to play in the Championship since 1992-93.

Sunderland might survive relegation Again!

Sunderland is in a good position to survive relegation ahead of Newcastle United after their comeback against the Blues last week.

If they survive relegation this season, it will be their 3rd season in a row finishing just above the relegation zone with 3 points. I think they should be nicknamed: "The Relegation Survivors"

Which of these five (5) actions are we likely not to experience on the last day of the English Premier League season. Let's Talk!
