There could be a couple of changes in the Gujarat Lions squad as they take on the powerful Dhoni led Rising Pune Supergiants in their second t20 game of the Indian Premiere League on Thursday night.

The Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot will host this contest that starts at 8:00 p.m. India time.

There is much confusion regarding players in squads in this edition of the IPL.

Dhoni and Suresh Raina, who were part of the Chennai Super Kings Franchisee, are now in two different brand new teams.

Dhoni now lead the Pune squad while Rain is the skipper of Gujarat Lions.

There is no chance of rain in Rajkot, but the pitch is reportedly slow and sluggish.

Should assist the slow bowlers and spinners.

Both the teams have won their opening games in great style, but one team will suffer loss today.

Gujarat has powerful batsmen from overseas like B McCullum from New Zealand, Aaron Finch and Faulkner from Australia and Dwayne Bravo from West Indies.

Where to watch live:

Sony Six and Set Max TV channels have bagged the broadcast rights in India and other countries in Asia.

ESPN and Sky Sports will telecast the Vivo IPL live in the U.S and U.K respectively.

Geo Super in Pakistan and Maasranga in Bangladesh will show the event live.

Now there is new a headache for the organizers as the court in Maharastra has asked the IPL to shift all the games to some other place from May 1.

The State is facing severe drought since the last couple of years and has expressed their inability to supply water to the stadiums.

The contests are being played at three venues in Maharastra - Mumbai, Puna and Nagpur.

Even some other states in India are also facing the same situation; it will be interesting to see where the t20 games are going to be shifted.

The most affected teams as of now appear to be Mumbai Indians and Pune, as they lose the home support.
