What a great weekend of Premier LeagueSoccer we have behind us! Leicester City’s 3-1 victory over title favorites Manchester City and Everton’s 3-0 win over Stoke City set the tone for the team of the week. We’ve taken players with the best displays from 25th round of Premier League and slotted them into a best starting team.

The goalkeeper position is admittedly reserved for Heurelho Gomes. The ex-Tottenham player returned to White Hart Lane to stop the high flying Spurs for a brilliant 60 minutes. Save after save was made to keep his team in the game, but unfortunately in the 64th minute Kieran Trippier managed to beat the Brazilian and robbed him of a clean sheet.

At the right-back position we selected Seamus Coleman, who netted 12 goals in the last two seasons, an impressive result for the defender. This year is not so good for theEverton player, but things can change after he managed to score again in a 3-0 demolition ofStoke City. On the other side, we have Leicester starting left-backChristian Fuchs. He recorded an assist to Robert Huth at Etihad Stadium and thanks to his defending skills, the Foxes were able stop Raheem Sterling.

At the center-back we selected two strong players – Robert Huth and Joleon Lescott. The first of them earned an award for the Man of the Weekend thanks to two goals scored against Manchester City. Great on both ends of the pitch, he brutally exposed ManchesterCity’s weakness in defensive block.

Lescott played a great game against Norwich as his team finally got an away victory. He opened scoring with a strong header and then managed to stop Norwich’s attacks.

There were two candidates to take the place of the best defensive-midfielder, but we decided to choose Idrissa Gueye, as Leicester’s N’Golo Kante is putting together brilliant performances every week.

The Senegalese stopped five attacks and made eight interceptions.

At the center-midfielder position we selected two Arsenal players --Aaron Ramsey and Mesut Ozil. The Welshman was heavily involved in both goals for his team. He dominated the middle of the pitch thanks to his incredible stamina, which allowed him to run from the first to the last minute.

Mesut Ozil helped Ramsey to outshine Bournmouth midfielders in an impressive 2-0 victory, he also scored a great goal with the half volley.

Front three? Riyad Mahrez, Aaron Lennon, and Romelu Lukaku – no surprises! The Algerian scored a remarkable goal against Manchester City, he also added an assist for Robert Huth’s first goal with a nice delivery. Lennon’s recent form is really impressive, as he’s keeping Gerard Deulofeu on the bench. He scored a great goal against City and also delivered an assist to Romelu Lukaku
