Brazilian midfielder Oscar scored three goals in the first half as his team Chelsea advances to the next round of the FA Cup with a 5-1 victory over MK Dons at Stamford Bridge on Sunday. Chelsea’s manager Guus Hiddink decided to name a strong starting team, making only cosmetic changes from an away 1-0 victory over Arsenal. It payed off, as Chelsea dominated the game from the beginning.

Chelsea's domination

The Blues took the lead in the 15th minute after a terrible mistake by Kyle McFadzean, who gave the ball to Diego Costa.

The Spaniard delivered a brilliant ball to Oscar, who made no mistake in front of the goal. The lead lasted only few minutes, as MK Dons quickly found a way to score an equalizer. Samir Carruthers passed the ball to Potter, who fired a 25-yards shot. The ball deflected off Nemanja Matic, giving Chelsea’s goalkeeper no chance to save his team from conceding the lead.

Chelsea took the lead again in the 34th minute and it was Oscar who gave them the lead for the second time.

The midfielder received a perfect pass from youngster Ruben Loftus-Cheek. The Brazilian grabbed his first hat-trick for Chelsea just before halftime with a brilliant curling shot from outside the penalty box.

Second half

After the break Chelsea carved out four great opportunities to score another goal, but the goalkeeper showed incredible skills to stop Guus Hiddink’s side. Their determination payed off once again in the 55th minute, when Eden Hazard scored his first goal of the season from the penalty spot.
